INCOSE is open to individuals, corporations, other business entities, governmental agencies, not for profit organizations, and academic institutions.
Membership Year The membership year is an annual membership year that runs from the date joined for all member types. Corporate Advisory Board membership is January 1-December 31. The dues are prorated for the next membership year.
INCOSE maintains three categories of individual membership: Regular, Senior, and Student. You may select any category for which you are eligible. All members receive complimentary access to INCOSE publications of the SE Journal and INSIGHT. All members of INCOSE may also purchase hard copies of INSIGHT and the Journal at a discounted rate for one membership year. INSIGHT = $20USD and the Journal = $30USD.
Regular Individual Membership System engineering professionals from corporate management, government & program management, research & development, science and engineering, business development, and many more – gain technical knowledge, networking, access, and influence from an individual membership . Students studying to become systems engineers or advancing their expertise can benefit from a membership in INCOSE as well. Regular Membership dues are $105USD.
Senior Members Individual members qualify for the Senior category if they are at least 64 years of age the time of their membership renewal and have maintained their individual membership for the five membership years prior to applying for the Senior category. Senior members also receive a 50% discount on their registration and other program fees for the International Symposium, and the registration fee for the International Workshop is waived. Senior membership dues are $55USD.
Note: Those members who intend to seek Senior member status and take advantage of the discounted fees at the International Symposium must renew their membership prior to registering for the symposium. Senior member status must be confirmed by the Central Office before individuals can register at the discounted rate.
Student Members Members qualify for the Student category if their course load is at least 3/4 of full time in an engineering or related field. (For example, if the full-time student course load is 4 per semester, then the student must be enrolled in 3 or more courses in order to qualify for the student membership rate.) To apply, please complete the membership application and use the mail or fax option to submit along with proof of class schedule. Student members also receive reduced rates for the registration and program fees for the International Symposium. Student members do not have voting privileges in INCOSE elections. Student Membership dues are $20USD.
Developing Country Depending on thePurchasing Power Parity (PPP) of the country in which you live, you may be eligible for a discount. The President of INCOSE may designate residents of certain countries eligible for reduced annual member dues. A designation is valid for one membership year, and may be extended or cancelled by the President for each subsequent membership year. For residents of the countries designated by the President, members may, but are not required to, avail themselves of the stated discount.
Policy on Transferring Memberships An organization may provide membership in INCOSE for its own employees or members (hereafter referred to as designees) by making a single payment to INCOSE in the amount of the dues owed for all designees, and providing INCOSE with the name, address, phone number, and E-mail address for each designee. In accordance with INCOSE policy, memberships are not transferable to other individuals, but additional designees can be added with an accompanying payment. INCOSE will address all mailings directly to the designees, except for initial renewal notices which will be sent to the organization. INCOSE shall have the option to solicit membership renewals from those designees not renewed by the organization.
