The North Texas Chapter is hosting a sponsored Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) Exam at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

This paper-based SEP Exam will be held on Saturday, October 21 at 9:00am -11:30am, arrival by 8:45am and is open to everyone free of charge. If passed, this will fulfill the knowledge testing requirements for the INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) and Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) credentials.

NOTE: You may take this Exam without being a member of INCOSE. However, once you pass the Exam, you must become a member of INCOSE, and complete the Application Process with the required fees to become a Certified SEP.

Check-In begins at 8:45 AM. The Exam begins at 9:00AM.

Moody Parking is usually free on the weekends, otherwise it is $5 per day payable by credit card. There is metered parking throughout campus payable with quarters. $0.25 per 15 minutes. Be prepared in case parking is not free due to an event. I have avoided football game days and attempted to avoid days with events but there is no guarantee.


You will be notified by email of your test results within 4 to 6 weeks after completing the exam. Once passed, the full application for ASEP or CSEP certification, based upon your level of education and professional experience, needs to be submitted with the appropriate certification fees to INCOSE.
