The CSRA Chapter was chartered in October 1999. The chapter was formed around the application of the systems engineering process at the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Savannah River Site, located between Aiken , South Carolina , and Augusta , Georgia . The CSRA Chapter boasts membership from the government, commercial and academia systems engineering sectors. The chapter supports members in both North and South Carolina , and Georgia . Activities provide an environment for systems engineers and other professionals to meet and discuss issues related to all aspects of engineering.
