"QuARS: Automated Natural Language Analysis of Requirements and Specifications" ( ** see below) - and demonstrate the current form of the tool. He’ll show specific examples of the type defects it finds.

** Quality Analyzer for Requirements Specifications (QuARS)
- Lexical, syntactic and semantic analyses of requirements:  natural language analysis of requirements text
     - lexical: vague, weak, optional, subjective, other terms
     - syntactic: multiple, implicit, under specified statements
     - semantic: allows screening for consistency, completeness, etc.
     - arbitrary combinations of domains, components, functionality, product quality attributes, and so on

INCOSE Delaware Valley Chapter President Clifton Baldwin, left, presented certificates of appreciation to Anthony Stevens, CISSP, center, FAA’s Information Security Group, and Michael McAnulty, PhD, left, FAA’s NAS Human Factors Group. The presentation by Stevens was entitled "The Security Concerns of Wireless Technology within the FAA" and McAnulty's presentation was "Human Factors and Engineering FAA Systems."
