A One Day Introductory Tutorial
Saturday, June 17th, 2000
Instructors:
Michael Jesse Chonoles, Janet Z. Conway, Lester L. Zern
Are you interested in:
The Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Use Cases have become a technique for gathering requirements that more and more companies are interested in using. The Use Case technique focuses on the user of the system in an attempt to get the business perspective for requirements. This user centered approach improves the overall involvement of the stakeholders as well as keeps our focus on the business drivers for a system. The purpose of this tutorial is to provide an introduction to use cases and gathering and documenting requirements using this technique. It will also provide an overview of UML as it relates to use cases. This tutorial will include some hands-on exercises for participants.
Tutorial Outline
Time: 9 AM to 3 PM (includes an hour for lunch; lunch is provided)
Place: Naval Air Systems Command, Galley, Highway 547 Lakehurst, NJ
Deadline: Deadline is June 3rd. Space is limited. Be sure to enroll early.
