The non-refundable application fee for initial certification is $300.00 for INCOSE members or $400.00 for non-INCOSE members. A separate fee of $80.00 is paid to the test organization each time the certification test is taken.

Triennial renewal of existing certifications requires submittal of a non-refundable fee of $50.00 for INCOSE members or $100.00 for non-INCOSE members. Renewal applications that are dated (electronic or post-marked) after the expiration of the current certification will not be processed; the applicant will have to repeat the entire certification process of submitting an application with the application fee to regain CSEP status.

Group Payment
The INCOSE Certification Office accepts advance payment from companies to cover the certification application costs for groups of employees named with the payment. The named employees have one year from the time of the group payment to complete their individual certification that includes submitting the application form and scheduling and passing an exam. Group payments do not include fees for scheduling certification exams that must be paid by the employees to the test organization when scheduling the exam to reserve a test seat on the scheduled date. A Company may substitute one employee for another employee listed in the group package who has not submitted an application for certification. The Company must notify the INCOSE Certification Office in writing of a substitution, and the one-year time limit from the time of the group payment still applies. Any portion of the group payment that is unused one year after the payment will be forfeit.

Corporate Advisory Board Company Discounts
In appreciation of the support by the Corporate Advisory Board (CAB) Companies to INCOSE, the INCOSE Certification Office is offering CAB companies a ten-percent quantity discount for advance payment for a group of its employees to apply to become Certified Systems Engineering Professionals. To receive the quantity discount, a CAB company must submit a package that contains the names of at least ten employees who will apply for certification and the payment to cover the application fees of the employees. A quantity discount of ten percent will apply to the normal application fee of $400. The ten-percent quantity discount does not apply to the already discounted application fee of $300 for INCOSE members. The quantity discount is subject to the same restrictions as the advance payment package in the preceding paragraph; namely, the one year time limit for employees to complete certification, exclusion of exam fees, substitute employees, and forfeiture of unused portion of payment after one year.

A CAB Company may submit a package for which the discount is applicable to only some of the employees named within the group of 10 or more. For example, a Company may submit the names of 12 employees, which 7 are INCOSE members and 5 are not members. The total payment submitted with the package would be $3900 ($2100 for 7 employees at the already discounted INCOSE member rate of $300 each plus $1800 for the 5 non-INCOSE members at the group discounted rate of $360 each).
