Our Mission is to foster the definition, understanding, and practice of world-class systems engineering in industry, academia, and government in support of the mission of INCOSE.
Our primary objective is the dissemination of systems engineering knowledge by:
- promoting collaboration in systems engineering practice, education and research;
- promoting the establishment of professional standards for integrity in the practice of systems engineering;
- improving the professional status of all persons engaged in the practice of systems engineering;
- encouraging governmental and industrial support for research and educational programs that improve the systems engineering process and its practice; and
- promoting activities with industry, government and academia.
We do this by acting as the INCOSE focal point within the western and central region of upstate New York. Our chapter covers the 22 counties across Upstate New York, centralized around the Finger Lakes Region. Originating out of Rochester, we want to expand our program and activities throughout the area to provide a greater benefit to all our members through networking the systems engineering disciple and expanding our professional growth and knowledge.
