Congratulations to Randy Schons, INCOSE Heartland chapter
member, newly CSEP certified!
Randy is the FIRST INCOSE Heartland chapter member to get the INCOSE
Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
Randy has worked at Rockwell Collins for 26 years in commercial avionics
and government communication systems. This experience is in systems,
software and electrical engineering. This includes 8 years as a engineering
manager of software and system teams. He is currently a System engineer
working on various performance features for Flight Management System used
on the Rockwell Collins Commercial Systems Fusion Avionics system.
Outside of work, Randy has been involved as a mentor on a US First
robotics team, helping with his son's boy scout troop and enjoys camping.
Randy has a BS degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University,
MBA from University of Phoenix, and is Currently enrolled as a
graduate student in System Engineering at ISU
