2008 International Workshop – Schedule by Group

Following is the preliminary schedule of board, committee, and working group meetings for the International Workshop. Committee and working group chairs are currently making their plans. This section will be continually updated as groups submit meeting space request forms, so we encourage you to check the website regularly for updates. Meeting dates and times are subject to change. If you have any questions regarding your meeting date and time, please don't hesitate to contact the INCOSE Conference Manager.

Board, Committee, and Working Group Meetings
Aerospace and Defence Sector

Tue, 29 Jan 0800-1000 This meeting has been called to establish a new working group to address SE topics of international interest in the Aerospace & Defense Sector. Biomedical (a potential working group)

Mon, 28 Jan 1400-1700 System Engineers working in Medical Diagnostics, Medical Products, and other Biomedical fields are using processes heavily influenced by regulators such as FDA, MDD, and IVD. Therefore, some best System Engineering practices that work well for DOD, Aerospace, and Consumer industries may not be relevant for Biomedical System Engineers. The goals of this meeting is to measure the interest for a new working group focused on unique Biomedical System Engineering best practices and to discuss the potential mission and charter. If interested, please come for at least some of the meeting to make your interest known.

Based on the outline created at IW07, the manifesto proposes eight points for development focus. These points will be topics of individual break-out working sessions, developing preliminary scope and definition for full brief-out review. Working Group product development planning will begin, open for suggestion, proposal, scheduling and commitment for mid-year and IW09 deliverables. Additional topics by discussion leaders requesting agenda time in advance of the meeting will be scheduled as time permits. Time and topic schedules for days 2 and 3 will be determined on day 1 to accommodate members with multi working group interests. All are welcome to participate.
