Tutorials on Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Method (OOSEM)
Mr. Sanford Friedenthal from Lockheed Martin will be presenting two tutorials on November 21 and 22 at the Stevens Institute of Technology, Babbio Centre, 1 Castle Point on Hudson, Hoboken, NJ 07030. Space is limited to 35 people per tutorial. Reservations will be taken on a first come, first served basis. To register, contact Frank Salvatore. Tutorial Cost is $60 per tutorial.

The first tutorial will be on Systems Modeling Language (SysML). The OMG Systems Modeling Language (OMG SysML) is a general-purpose graphical modeling language for specifying, analyzing, designing, and verifying complex systems that may include hardware, software, information, personnel, procedures, and facilities. This tutorial provides an introduction to how SysML can address the needs of the systems engineer. It includes background and motivation, an overview of the SysML diagram types and language concepts, and selected sample problems to demonstrate how the language can be used as part of a typical SE process.
