Plan ahead for this important INCOSE Regional event.  The INCOSE Michigan Chapter, in cooperation with the INCOSE Cleveland Chapter and the Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD), will host this two-day conference-style meeting at the beautiful Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island, Monday and Tuesday, September 8-9, 2008. A strategy meeting and reception is planned for Sunday evening September 7, 2008 for those interested.  This event will bring together authors, experts and practitioners from industry, government and education to focus on major issues facing the economy, business competitiveness and the practice of systems engineering.  The topic areas of Lean Systems Engineering (LSE), entrepreneurship and innovation, global competitiveness, SE education, SE application in organizations, complex systems analysis and leadership will be discussed. The program will include presentations by the speakers and two panel discussions which will attendees the opportunity to interact personally with the speakers and panelists.  Details available soon.
