INCOSE New England Leadership
The chapter leadership is comprised of chapter officers as defined by the chapter by-laws. Chapter officers are elected once a year and serve term during the chapter's fiscal year, which ranges from May 1st through April 30th.

Jim McMath

Jim McMath is a federal employee of Department of the Air Force working in the Electronic Systems Center, Capabilities Integration Directorate, Improvised Explosive Device Defeat (IEDD) Program Office. His primary duty is developing system engineering processes for the acquisition of advanced technologies to support United States Air Force detection of IEDs. Previous, Jim was a systems and acquisition support contractor engineer for 22 years at ESC working in several different programs, most recently as a Systems Engineer III for Engility Corp, an L-3 Communications subsidiary, in the ESC Global Air Traffic Management (GATM) Program Office. In October of 2006, Jim received his Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) from the International Council of Systems Engineers.

Jim Baumann
Jim Baumann is an engineering director for Jacobs Technology Inc. He and a workforce of more than 700 are providing technical acquisition services to the U.S. Air Force at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts and more than 10 other locations around the country. Jim was an active duty Air Force officer for 23 years, working in the fields of radar systems, electronic countermeasures, flight testing, and engineering education. His most recent work is in evaluation of automated target recognition systems. Jim received a BS in electrical engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy, an MS in computer engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and holds a Ph.D. in software engineering from the University of Maryland.

Mario F. Agripino

Mario Agripino is the President/CEO of EC Systems Engineering located in Middletown RI. He holds a BS from Charter Oak State College and is an Advanced Studies Program Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mario was a researcher for MIT's Lean Sustainment Initiative. He has been employed at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, RI for 24 years (1978-2002). His teaching experience includes courses in acquisition, program management and systems engineering at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center and the Naval War College.

Olivier L. De Weck
Associate Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Engineering Systems at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He obtained a dipl. Ing. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich in 1993. From 1993-1996 he worked as a systems engineer and later as engineering program manager on the F/A-18 aircraft program at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, Missouri. He obtained a masters degree and a doctorate in Aerospace Systems from MIT in 1999 and 2001, respectively. His research focuses on systems engineering methods and tools for complex space systems. Specifically he has contributed to the theory of reconfigurable systems, including satellite constellations. He has served as a member of the AIAA Multidisciplinary Design Optimization Technical Committee and the Space Logistics Technical Committee and was the Technical Chair for the 1st AIAA Multidisciplinary Design Optimization Specialist Conference. He is a member of the INCOSE Space Systems Working Group and won the INCOSE 2004 Symposium Best Paper Award. He is currently working with the Space Systems Working Group and the 16.851 satellite engineering students at MIT on the INCOSE 2008 Model-based Systems Engineering Challenge (MBSE) by developing an integrated model for a space-based fire detection and monitoring system. Adeel is a Systems Engineer at Avidyne Corporation. He is involved in the design and integration of Multi-Function Displays (MFD) for General Aviation (GA) aircraft. Adeel is also the application lead for the design of Charts and Maps for Entegra II Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS). His research interest includes Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) with its application to rotorcraft technology. Adeel has a Ph.D and M.S degrees in Aerospace Engineering, M.S degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, an M.S degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and a B.S degree from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan.

John Sedivy

John Sedivy serves as company President and founder of Analytica Systems Inc. Prior to Analytica Systems, Mr. Sedivy served in positions of increasing responsibility within the United States Marine Corps (USMC), defense contractors, the federal government, and a commercial start-up company. Academic credentials include a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics with an emphasis on Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), and a graduate certificate and MS in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University (JHU). Mr. Sedivy possesses a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level I certification and extensive training in domain knowledge such as avionics systems, Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, radar systems, and general leadership.

Joseph (Yossi) Weihs

Yossi has been involved with systems engineering for over ten years, and is currently managing new product line development at SeaChange, a leading vendor in the cable television industry. He has worked in multiple industries - software, telecom, electronics manufacturing tools and aerospace. Yossi has lead software development at Avidyne corporationwww.avidyne.com , GameLogic Inc www.gamelogic.com ; has filled various positions with Bandwiz (network content delivery software), Orbotech http://www.orbotech.com and had served ar the Israeli Air Force. Yossi holds a ME in Systems Engineering and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
