Description: Cost Estimation and Tracking techniques are used to estimate the cost of tasks and to roll those costs up to total project cost. They require input information that provides Basis of Cost parameters from prior experience. They are also used to track the cost of the project during development and must interface with the organization's financial recording and reporting system.
