Topic: Highlights of the 2005 INCOSE Symposium
Abstract:
The 2005 INCOSE Symposium was by far the most successful INCOSE Symposium yet. In addition to many thought-provoking technical sessions and tutorials, this Symposium featured a Commercial Steering Committee meeting focusing on how to make INCOSE more relevant to commercial companies. The three members of our local chapter who attended will highlight some of the key information presented at the Symposium, and offer ideas for future programs we could have at our chapter which could present more information on selected topics presented at the Symposium.
The Presenters:
Hal Mooz is a founder of the Center for Systems Management, and one of the original inventors of the V Model of the systems engineering process. He worked for twenty plus years in the aerospace/defense industry before founding the first of two companies he has lead, and is one of the "grand old men" of systems engineering.
Charles Halligan is a member of the INCOSE Certification Steering Committee, and has been instrumental in the development of the criteria and test for the Certification program. He is currently employed by Lockheed Martin, and has many years of experience in systems engineering.
Dorothy McKinney is the Past President of the local INCOSE chapter, and is currently INCOSE's Associate Director for Major Projects, supporting the INCOSE Board of Directors. She currently works for Lockheed Martin.
