Tony Graves is the President Elect of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of INCOSE. He is a thirty-one year employee of Waste Management of Alameda County and a member of Teamsters Local #70 in Oakland, CA. Mr. Graves' entry into the field of systems engineering started with the reading of "Rescuing Prometheus" (1997), where programs covering System Building, the Military Industrial Complex, and Complexity, are highlighted by author Thomas Hughes.

He has served in both Chairman and Vice-Chairman roles on the Castro Valley Sanitary District Community Advisory Committee, where as Vice-Chairman he provided valuable input to board members for the dispersion of grants funds to local organizations participating in community environmental projects.

Mr. Graves holds certificates in Integrated Waste Management, and Supervision and Management from San Jose State Extension. He is currently pursuing a double Associates of Science degree in Environmental Hazardous Material Technology, and Occupational Safety and Health.

Mr. Graves is also a member of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), the Association for Supervision and Curriculum (ASCD), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the American Geophysical Union (AGU), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
