Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) programs are large, complex, comprehensive, and have a long system life cycle. Adapting MBSE at NAVAIR includes a “Digital Transformation” for systems engineering, formalizing a model-based approach for systems engineering, difficulty due to different phases of the acquisition cycle, recognizing that one size doesn’t fit all, converting well-defined disciplines into MBSE, creating familiar “views”, and obtaining stakeholder buy-in.
Meetings begin at 6:00 pm (eastern) and run to approximately 7:30 pm (eastern).
All meetings are being held virtually until further notice.
We use zoom for our monthly meetings.
