Speaker: Michael Clark
About the Presentation:
Professor Clark’s talk will be on Small Unmanned Aircraft System. He will bring some examples of the aircraft with him for his talk.
About the Speaker:
Professor Clark has taught computer science since 1994. Currently he is an adjunct instructor at Carnegie Mellon University. His courses, Introduction to Real Time Systems and Contextual Design Methods are popular electives and core classes respectively. He uses multi-rotor aircraft as examples of real time systems. Mr. Clark’s degrees are from Florida Tech, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and Carnegie Mellon. Past employment has been with Harris GCSD as a senior Mechatronics engineer, an engineering Manager for SEEGRID, a vision based Pittsburgh Robotics Company, and as a Federal research scientist. He has been INCOSE’s guest speaker for topics on Driverless Cars, and Mobile Telepresence. Mr. Clark is president of Free State Aeromodlers, a Maryland RC Club. As such, he is involved with various platforms from racing drones to vintage WWI bi-planes, He also recently received the FAA’s part 107, or remote small unmanned Pilot’s License. His HAM-Technician license is KC3FJK.
