Space Coast Chapter Meeting - Dec. 7, 2017 - MBSE HIGH Level Design Of a Sustainable Charging and Swapping Station Using Discrete Event Simulation

Melbourne , USA
Spacecoast Fab Lab 2475 Palm Bay Road NE

This will be our regular Chapter meeting for December 2017. Food & drink provided at no charge - just let us know you are coming.
NOTE LOCATION: At The SPACECOAST FAB LAB, 2475 Palm Bay Road NE (across the street from the Harris).  See directions below.

Topic: MBSE HIGH Level Design Of a Sustainable Charging and Swapping Station Using Discrete Event Simulation

Speaker: Obinna Ginigeme

About the Presentation:
With the stealth increase in the adoption of Electric Vehicles, adequate charging and swapping stations will eventually be commonplace.  A hypothetical test-case will be developed using the discrete-event simulation tool (Area) to model the sustainable charging and swapping station while capturing the model’s architecture in the MBSE framework.  The work focuses on how current SE practices can be used to design and manage complex systems.

About our Presenter:
Obinna Ginigeme (popularly called Obi) came to Florida Institute of Technology to earn a Masters degree in Engineering Management.  After successfully completing his academic sojourn with almost perfect grades, he woke up and found himself pursing another Masters degree, this time in Systems Engineering.  He graduates this Fall.  Obi is the Founding President of The Society of Systems Engineers at Florida Tech, and he is also an ASEP.
