tic safety features.  \;This talk will focus on robotic testing of thr
ee of these features\;  \; Forward Collision Warning (FCW)\, Automatic
Braking (AB)\, and Lane Departure Warning (LDW). The talk will present th
e National Highway Transportation Agency's (NHTSA) performance requirement
s for these 3 safety features and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safe
ty's (IIHS) extensive test facility which includes autonomous robotic cont
rol of both the car under test and a special purpose robot used as a targe
t vehicle during the tests.  \;Perrone Robotics\, Inc. (PRI) is respon
sible for the entire IIHS test system including the special purpose target
robot and the robotics used in the car under test. About the Speaker:\nO
ur speaker is Dr. Sam Harbaugh\, who helped in the early days to found the
INCOSE Space Coast Chapter.  \;Sam served as systems engineer on the
Carnegie Mellon University teams that competed in the three DARPA Challeng
es which were races between automobile based autonomous vehicles across th
e desert and in an urban environment.  \;Most recently Sam assisted PR
