He received is CSEP last fall\, has 13 patents\, i s a 6-Sigma black belt\, and has over 33 years of experience designing and building software systems\; 20 of those at Trane developing Building Auto mation Systems. Sean&rsquo\;s most recent assignment was leading the devel opment effort for the Requirements Management\, Process Automation\, and T est Management tools in PTC Integrity. His areas of interest include cyber security for application areas like internet of things\, cloud computing\, mobile computing\, data protection\, and cyber-physical systems. He has p ublished more than 20 research papers at leading international security co nferences and has co-authored few high impact industry white papers. He ha s served as a co-chair for numerous international conferences and workshop s including IEEE CTS 2014 and 2015\, CPS Week 2016\, IEEE DCOSS 2014 (CPS- Sec)\, IEEE CNS 2016 (CPS-Sec). As part of his community service\, Apurva has served on the Technical Program Committees of more than 2 dozen intern al conferences\, and as a reviewer for leading IEEE journals. He received his masters&rsquo\; and PhD in ECE focusing on cyber security from Georgia Tech\, where he was a TI:GER fellow.
