7:00 to 8:15 A presentation by the Power and Energy Working Group “PEWG”
Speaker and Topic: The INCOSE Power and Energy Working Group will present key details of their emerging strategy to support Systems Engineering disciplines and model-based methods toward the evolution of future energy systems serving societal needs. Raymond Beach, chairman of the Power and Energy Working Group, will discuss the charter, strategies, and plans for IS12 in Rome, Italy. Then Dr. Charles Alexander, Co-chair of the PESWG, will discuss efforts aimed at outreach and collaboration on energy systems with IEEE, AIAA, Energy Sector enterprises, and related efforts to coordinate systems methods. We also would like to welcome, Dr. R. Joe Shaw from NASA GRC’s Chief of Business Development office. Dr. Shaw will present an overview of NASA plans and initiatives for the evolution of advanced Power and Energy systems.
