Every 2 years INCOSE EMEA organizes a 2-day workshop. Previously these were organised in France and Germany. This year INCOSE-NL is in the lead to put this event together. For several months a team is working hard behind the scenes to put everything in place!
A sound program has been put together with 15-20 half- and full day workshop sessions. The workshop sessions will be planned in 5 parallel tracks. 5 sessions every morning and 5 sessions every afternoon, during 2 days. Each single workshop session is expected to last about 2½ hours.
Speakers: We have scheduled two international plenary keynotes.
Program: The 2-day workshop won’t just be passive listening sessions, we will facilitate work forms in which everyone can contribute actively. Active methods maximize results. (what you read - you will forget; what you hear - you will understand; what you do - you will remember!). In terms of session topics you will be able to choose from typical SE related issues such as: Configuration Mgt (CM), Product Line Engineering (PLE), Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), System Architecture, Human System Integration (HSI), Systems of Systems (SoS), System Thinking (ST), Reliability Engineering (RE), SE for Small & Medium Enterprises (SME), Safety, Simulation, etc. You can also attend domain related workshops for: Automotive, Oil & Gas, Rail, Road & Tunnel transportation systems.
And additionally, topics like Future of Systems Engineering (FuSE), Knowledge-Based Engineering, Competency, Project Mgt & SE integration, the possibility for a Certification Test Exam and our Dutch Young INCOSE with an interactive session will be available.
Venue: This 2-day event will take place at RWS in Utrecht and is supported by LEF: Future Experience Center. Professional session facilitators from LEF will offer explicit support stimulating creativity and maximizing concrete results. In addition we are looking into opportunities for creating visualizations of the session outcomes. As our brain is much better utilized in remembering visualized information! We are planning to set up a market place at the end of the 2nd day where these visualizations can be exhibited as a nice representation of all creative activities.
Accomodation: We will have discount options available for overnight stay + breakfast at Van Der Valk, which is an excellent hotel at only 5 - 10 min walking distance from the venue.
