Finger Lakes Chapter presents "Laser Rail Cleaning" by Mark Woodward, Asst. Director, Metro North Railroad
This presentation will discuss rail track cleaning using a truck mounted laser instead of using water to remove the pectin left by crushed leaves on the rail head, reducing the slip slide and subsequent flat spots that can occur during low adhesion.
