SMC INCOSE Sponsorship of 2022 Future City Competition

In efforts to promote the participation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs, our INCOSE Seattle Chapter will be participating once again as a Silver Sponsor of the 2022 Future City Competition for the state of Washington.  This competition engages more than 45,000 middle school students each year throughout the United States and abroad.  The competition starts with the question "How can we make the world a better place?" to which 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students imagine, research, design, and build cities of the future that showcase their proposed solution to a citywide sustainability issue.

A message to our SMC members; the Organizing Committee of the Future City Competition is in need of volunteer judges to evaluate the work of the students.  If you are interested, please register before Jan 3rd, 2022 at https://dashboard.futurecity.org/register/
