Welcome to the Southern Maryland Chapter

Founded in February, 1998, the Southern Maryland Chapter follows the INCOSE International Mission, Vision and Goals.

Additionally, we will:

  • Continue our outreach program to support systems engineering conferences and events at both the Regional and International levels of INCOSE
  • Continue to build partnerships with local professional associations offering unique and diverse systems engineering insights while complimenting their inherent interest areas

INCOSE-LA Chapter Speaker Meeting: Project Huddle Overview and MBSE Tool Integration

http://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/event?oeidk=a07ej33jdtk085d45e7&llr=l4ihvgeab

Topic: Project Huddle Overview and MBSE Tool Integration

Abstract: System engineering models are often used to capture multiple perspectives of a system. When these models are developed by different teams and organizations using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML), the seamless integration and federation of models becomes challenging. The Aerospace Corporation has developed an exchange standard that is codified into a tool called "Huddle." Huddle enables a 1-to-1 translation of SysML v1.5 model elements, relationships, and diagrams between multiple vendor tools and in-house developed tools. This presentation will provide an overview of the approach and demonstrate how Huddle is used to provide a model translation capability.

Presenters:
Trent Severson
is a Member of the Technical Staff at The Aerospace Corporation where he works in the Systems Engineering Environment Development Section on several model-based systems engineering projects. Trent earned a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Long Beach in Aerospace Engineering.

Karina Martinez
is a Member of the Technical Staff at The Aerospace Corporation where she works in the Software Modeling and Integration Department as a software developer. Karina has provided software expertise on several modeling and simulation projects across The Aerospace Corporation. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Los Angeles in Computer Science.
