"ISS Requirement Verification for Commercial Visiting Vehicles"

The COTS program demonstrated a new approach for NASA to integrate commercial visiting vehicles with the ISS.  Mr. Garguilo will present an overview of the current integration process for commercial visiting vehicles, and describe how the ISS program verifies commercial partner compliance with ISS requirements.

Dan Garguilo has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University.  After spending his early career designing HVAC and waster transfer systems at the Hanford Site in Washington State, Dan joined ARES Corporation in 2004 and moved to Houston to pursue a career in aerospace at the Johnson Space Center.  He has spent the last thirteen years working on multiple International Space Station Program contracts performing requirements management, systems integration, and test and verification planning for various ISS elements and visiting vehicles
