Creating a Sense of Unified System's in HealthCare IT Through Integration
In the health care field, integration is key to patient care. This session will be a dive into what integration means within the Health Care Information Systems field and how it affects the patient experience. Additionally, the session will cover challenges when it comes to integration and future integration technology in the industry.
Lee Ann Kincaid-Wood
Lee Ann Kincaid-Wood joined Memorial Hermann in 2010 and is currently the Director of Technical Services. In her roll, she defines domain and code strategy for Millennium, the systems Electronic Health Record while leading the Core, Foreign System Interfaces, Cloverleaf Interface, CCL, FHIR, and Cerner Architect teams. Prior to her time with Memorial Hermann, Lee Ann was an Engagement Leader with Cerner Corporation assisting in the roll out of Millennium to Ambulatory locations around the country. She holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Ohio and an undergraduate degree in Speech Communication with a minor in Corporate Communication from Baylor University. Additionally, Lee Ann is involved in Houston HIMSS chapter as a committee representative, is an active member with the Houston American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) chapter, and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).
