Greg Garstecki, CSEP, is a Senior Principal Engineer at Whirlpool Corporation, a major appliance manufacturer. His current role consists of leading Whirlpool's initiative to incorporate Systems Engineering principles into the Whirlpool Product Development (WPD) process. Previous to this Mr. Garstecki was a System Architect for the Front Load Laundry platform. He has been with Whirlpool for the past 25 years and has 7 patents with the company.
After earning a B.S. from University of Pittsburgh, he worked 5 years in the aerospace industry before joining Whirlpool where he earned his M.S in Mechanical engineering from NTU.
Mr. Garstecki has a broad field of expertise that includes systems engineering, structural and dynamics design/simulation, system performance modeling, design of experiments/six sigma, and new product design and development.
