INCOSE ASEP Forms
Associate Systems Engineering Professionals (ASEPs) are required to pass the knowledge exam and to renew their certification every five years. They are not required to document their education or experience, and they are not required to submit references. The ASEP forms are found here.
INCOSE ASEP forms for applicants from DAU Streamlined: Those with Level II or III DOD ENG Certification can bypass the INCOSE Knowledge Exam. They should email the INCOSE Certification Office at [email protected] with their DOD ENG certification details to confirm their eligibility.

INCOSE CSEP Forms
Certified Systems Engineering Professionals (CSEPs) are required to pass the knowledge exam and to renew their certification every three years. They are required to document their education and experience in their individual application form, and they are required to submit references. The CSEP forms are found here.

INCOSE CSEP Forms – for DAU ENG III only
For applicants from DAU certification streamlined path
Those with Level III DOD ENG Certification may bypass the INCOSE knowledge exam. The remaining technical documentation and references requirements for experience will be addressed in Form 1B provided here. They only have to write a brief narrative description of their work experience, describe three types of SE they have performed, and then get the form signed by their current supervisor, with no additional references required. Before submitting their application, they should email the INCOSE Certification Office at [email protected] with their DOD ENG certification details to confirm their eligibility.

INCOSE CSEP Forms – for SESA CPEng only
For SESA members, already certified as a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), who wish to apply for CSEP through CASE Pathway 1.
Those with the Australian CPEng Certification should take the INCOSE Knowledge Exam as usual. The remaining technical documentation will be addressed in Form 1CASE provided here, where the candidate should also document their CPEng status. INCOSE will verify their CPEng certification to confirm eligibility. In their Form 1, they only need to list one reference, who must corroborate at least 12 months of the required 5 years of qualifying SE experience. In addition, CPEng CSEP applicants must submit a copy of their CV to [email protected] with Level III DOD ENG Certification may bypass the INCOSE knowledge exam. The remaining technical documentation and references requirements for experience will be addressed in Form 1B provided here. Expert Systems Engineering Professionals (ESEPs) are not required to pass the knowledge exam or to renew their certification. They are required to participate in an oral interview. They are required to document their education and experience in their individual application form, and they are required to submit references. The ESEP forms are found here.
