Abstract: Lifecycle analysis can be a powerful tool for the Systems Engineer in creating understanding of systems characteristics. This presentation, with the benefit of hindsight, overviews project, contract and systems lifecycle relations and some of the consequences of delays during development which forces additional resource allocation. Hopefully, the attendants can make use of the basic lifecycle analysis techniques shown in the presentation.
Biography: Jakob Carlén is a former Swedish fighter pilot turned Defense Systems Engineer where he has worked as a Chief Engineer for the Swedish NH90 helicopter acquisition program.
