This paper describes some observations and lessons learned from over ten years of doing risk management at the Air Force Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This work is based on implementing the ASC Integrated Risk Management (IRM) process at Wright-Patterson and other government and industry facilities.
