This paper introduces the ELICERE process: a dependability requirement elicitation process applied to critical computer systems, based on a goal-oriented requirements engineering technique i* (pronounced i-star), and safety engineering techniques. After creating the system model using i* diagrams and their relationship components, such as goal, soft-goal, resource and task, these components are analyzed through guidewords based on HAZOP and FMEA.
