Using a real world example this paper attempts to illustrate the benefits of using XP – eXtreme Programming (Beck 2000) principles to obtain reuse benefits during the development process. Key to this methodology is embedding reuse and refactoring into the everyday processes rather than attempting to force reuse at the beginning or end of the development cycle.
