The value of modelling and design prototyping in the early phases of the systems engineering life cycle is well understood, as is the use of specialist test facilities for design verification during development and to confirm system behaviour and performance prior to delivery. This paper identifies that significant business advantage can be gained through the integration of these various design evaluation activities.
