At the INCOSE 2001 International Conference we were awarded the INCOSE Pioneer Award for “tirelessly working to integrate project management and systems engineering.” In the environment of project management and system engineering, especially in aerospace, this concept is often referred to as Systems Management and there are a few Masters Degrees in Systems Management available from U.S. Universities.
