Satisfaction of current demands for increased efficiency in the use of human resources requires nothing less than a revolutionary transformation in how we structure complex socio-technical systems. Human systems issues related to transformation of complex socio-technical systems pose substantive design challenges that must be addressed with human–centric analysis followed by human-centric design.
