In this paper we suggest a goal-oriented requirements engineering method to guide the discovery of strategic goals of a company, and their operationalization by goals associated with its system under development. The method also allows the discovery of system requirements and it was applied within an industrial project that aims to fabricate a medical diagnostic instrument.
