Lockheed Missiles & Space Co., Inc.’s (LMSC’s) Space Systems Division (SSD) has long had a system engineering council, where senior system engineers from all the division’s lines of business meet to guide the division’s system engineering activities. After a temporary cessation due to a division reorganization, the council has again resumed activity, with a new charter, concrete goals, and renewed interest in preserving and strengthening our core system engineering capability.
