When a project is “reused” from an initial project to subsequent reapplications of the original project, the question of management of the intellectual property between projects becomes a significant maintenance issue. When intellectual property is copied from one project space and pasted into the next project space, the intellectual property (IP) between the two projects is no longer directly shared (it’s rather salvaged), and the IP between the two projects will tend to diverge.
