Architecture Based Design™ (ABD™) is a system engineering design process being used at Lockheed Martin Management & Data Systems (LM M&DS). This process is based on the use of an Architecture View Set (AVS) to capture the executing architecture of a system This paper provides a case study of the use of the ABD™ process and the AVS to design and develop a system on a current program.
