As the Aerospace Industry increasingly moves to an environment where the development of its processes and products take place across company boundaries, the need for an understanding of how they will share process and product data is vital. BAe and Rolls-Royce are collaborating on such an enterprise and this paper reports on a pilot collaboration from an engineering perspective.
