This paper describes a practical application of the Systems Engineering (SE) process to the continuous improvement of a Business Management System (BMS) at Raytheon Systems Company, Naval and Maritime Systems (NAMS) division, which documents how an enterprise conducts its business via processes. It further explains how to improve the BMS by requirements management and an architectural structure which accommodates merging the process documentation from two or more companies.
