The Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMISM) project has integrated the Capability Maturity Model for Software (SW-CMM®) version 2C, Electronics Industry Alliance (EIA/IS-731) Systems Engineering Capability Model version 1.0, and the Integrated Product Development Capability Maturity Model (IPD-CMM) v0.98a. For the systems engineering community that has been using EIA/IS-731, this integration of CMMs has resulted in many changes to the practices and amount of information contained in the model.
