INCOSE and its individual and corporate members have participated in the development of valuable systems engineering standards like 632, 1220, and 15288, for the propagation of best practices. These standards are qualitative in that they describe the work that needs to be done or list factors to be considered throughout the life cycle in vernacular text with illustrations.
