A conspicuous disconnect exists between a MoDAF/DoDAF Architectural Model (MAF) and any subsequent Systems Engineering modeling activities. MAF permits the modeling of ‘system-of-systems’ and they both facilitate the capture of the high-level properties of a system’s interfaces.
