This paper addresses how one government organization is making strides in its quest for CMM Level 2 through the collaborative strategies of its managers, workforce, contractors, and private industry and other government organizations. The last two years’ efforts have yielded an environment that has helped ease the painful climb up the CMM ladder and produced some notable results.
