AbstractGenerative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming systems engineering processes in numerous ways, including automating tasks, generating architecture and design options, tradeoff analysis, implementation, testing, and improving decision-making processes. We introduce a harmonized maturity and cost model for using generative AI in systems engineering.
