This paper reviews the steps, trials, and pitfalls in designing and delivering a Systems Engineering training course in a company the size (about 5,000 engineers) of Texas Instruments’ Defense Systems and Electronics Group (DSEG). The paper is a case study of our efforts in TI DSEG to field and deliver a Systems Engineering Workshop, over a four year period, that is now considered successful.
