This paper presents the efforts of the Capability Assessment Working Group (CAWG) to develop a Capability Assessment Model and Method for Systems Engineering. The paper presents the charter of the CAWG, a brief history of its activities to date, a schedule of future activities, and some key issues facing the CAWG.
