The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is in the process of developing significant new capabilities in the Oceanic Air Traffic Management (ATM) System in response to the increasing demand on the system and the needs of the users of the oceanic air traffic management system. The FAA has planned for an evolutionary approach to the oceanic system development with a series of successive “Builds” adding new operational capabilities.
